The talk is being held after it was discovered that of dozens of fake bills were in circulation. So far 31 notes worth $1,690 have been passed off in stores and banks.

The talk starts at 6 p.m. at the Police Recreation Club at Prospect and is expected to last one hour.

A Police spokesman said: "The talk is open to all concerned members of the public, particularly those involved in the management of money such as business operators.

"Information will be provided so the public will be able to firstly recognise counterfeit currency and then know what to do.'' POLICE POL
