Amer, who was caught at the Airport with a total of 1.39 grams of the drug in her pocket and wallet, told Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis: "I would like the court to know that I am not a user of marijuana for recreational purposes.

"I had surgery on my gall bladder and have been very sick. The reason I used the marijuana is to stop the nausea.'' The 28-year-old Maryland resident was searched when she landed in Bermuda last Wednesday, the court heard. She admitted having the drug and was fined $200.
