walking on Rosemont Avenue in Hamilton early on Saturday evening.

Police said last night they were investigating the robbery of the woman who was walking northwards with several friends when the cycle drove up alongside her.

The driver grabbed the black bag, breaking the strap over her shoulder, and sped off toward Serpentine Road.

The horrified woman told Police although the bag held no cash it contained her credit cards and several other personal items.

The bandit was described as a dark-skinned male, of medium build, wearing a red and white jacket.
