Police chased a 19-year-old rider and passenger after they were clocked speeding at 3.15 a.m. on Saturday on Middle Road, Southampton.

The chase ended at Scaur Hill Drive, where the driver lost control and was arrested.

While he was being held, he attempted to again ride off, travelling east along Middle Road, dragging a female officer alongside the cycle, Police said.
