Policeman on Cedar Avenue, Hamilton, at 10.20 a.m.

Eyewitnesses said an argument blew up after the officer approached the driver, who was double parked opposite Appleby, Spurling and Kempe. A Police spokesman said: "As the Police officer attempted to report him by issuing a parking ticket because he was obstructing traffic, the person became aggravated and drove into the Police officer.'' The officer did not need hospital treatment.
