East End visitors targeted by thieves
According to Police reports, tourists returned from a restaurant early in the morning to find that their helmets had been stolen.
The helmets, one red and one black, had been attached to the basket of the auxiliary cycles.
The rented cycles were property of Dowlings Cycles.
In a separate incident, some tourists who were spending Tuesday afternoon at Tobacco Bay in St. George's returned from the water to find that their bag had been stolen.
The bag contained a Fuji camera, a passport, a driver's licence, an airline boarding pass, a birth certificate, and a small amount of US cash.
Meanwhile, Marine Police are investigating a theft of a white plastic live bait tank and a red plastic six gallon fuel tank.
The items were stolen from a fishing boat which was docking at Fairyland Creek in Pembroke on Tuesday.
