Leapfrogging into second place, three points adrift, were Queen's Club I, who did so as a result of a 7-0 whitewash of Sandys Sports Club II.

The only other First Division contest saw Sandys Sports Club I edge Old Colony Club II 4-3.

In Second Division action Police surged to within a point of front running Queens Club II with a 5-2 triumph over Old Colony Club III.

Remaining play had Spanish Point beating Old Colony Club IV 4-3.
