Exchange jumps 22 points

close Friday at 965.87 on a volume of 176,867 shares valued at $2,296.406.50, and 31,125 bonds valued at $28,323.75.

A total of 13 issues traded, with six advancing and three declining in value.

Bank of Bermuda warrants doubled in value to close at $2 on volume of 400 for the biggest gain of the week. The bank's common shares gained $1 to close at $18.50 on volume of 74,958. Bank of Butterfield gained 13 cents to close at $10 on volume of 58,965.

Bermuda Home rose 13 cents to close at $7.50 on volume of 2,000. Devonshire Industries Ltd. rose back to $11 from its $2 decline the previous week on volume of 550 shares. Kentucky Fried Chicken Ltd. gained 50 cents to close at $4 on a volume of 24,240.

Bermuda Commercial Bank had the biggest loss, falling 38 cents or nine percent to close the week at $4.13 on a volume of 1,000 shares. Bermuda Home preference shares fell 25 cents to close at $10 on a volume of 1,200. Argus Insurance Co. Ltd. fell 25 cents to close at $12.25 on a volume of 5,525.

Trading unchanged were Masters Ltd. at $5 on a volume of 150, BF&M preference shares at $9 on a volume of 1,500, BELCO Holdings at $20 on a volume of 6,379, and Bermuda Telephone Co. bonds at $91 on a volume of 31,125.
