The female occupant said the thief removed a knapsack containing the cash, other personal items and a grey jacket with green stripes. Another bag containing clothing and shoes was also stolen.

A quantity of coins was stolen from a house on Lemon Grove Road in Hamilton Parish residence sometime during Friday. The male occupant discovered the break-in soon after returning home around 9.30 p.m. when he noticed the glass jar containing the coins was missing.

A quantity of cash and several items of jewellery were stolen from a Bandroom Lane, Devonshire residence sometime between 7.45 a.m. and 2.20 p.m. Friday.

Police attended the offices of the Bermuda Sun on Victoria Street early Friday morning to the report of an overnight break-in. The culprit had made an untidy search of a number of office drawers, coins were stolen.
