Friday evening.

The accident happened at about 8.45 p.m. on Lighthouse Hill, St. David's when the cyclist, travelling down the hill, collided with a BTC van travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital for observation but was released later that evening.

The driver of the van was uninjured in the incident.
