Wolfe murder probe remains a mystery
if they are making any progress towards tracing his killer.
Nor will detectives reveal how Mr. Wolffe, whose body was found at his home in Heathcote Hill, Sandys Parish, actually died.
The only details released so far are that Mr. Wolffe, known as "Bugsy'', was last seen alive on Friday, November 12 and that a weapon was used in his murder.
The body of Mr. Wolffe, 43, a labourer, was found by a family member at his house on November 17.
At a press conference on November 19, Ch. Insp. Carlton Adams, who is leading the inquiry, refused to say if Police were looking for more than one person or to speculate on whether Mr. Wolffe might have known his killer.
Since then, Police have not issued any further information and have refused media requests for comment.
One of his relatives urged members of the public to contact any member of the Wolffe family with information if they did not feel comfortable talking to the Police.
The relative, who asked not to be named, told The Royal Gazette : "Before Christmas we were told by Police that persons were helping them with their inquiries.
"I haven't spoken to any family members since Christmas about this, but I still don't know how he died. The Wolffe family is a big family. If anyone knows anything or saw anything please come forward and contact a family member if they don't want to talk to the Police.
"We're just putting faith in the Police department and hope it doesn't go down as another unsolved murder.'' A Police spokesperson said that the only comment he could make was that Police continue to urge witnesses to come forward.
Chief Insp. Carlton Adams.
