Bermuda, Bank of Butterfield and Belco saw stock prices rise on a busy week of trading that saw almost $3.5 million change hands.

Bank of Bermuda gained 50 cents to close at $39.50, while Bank of Butterfield rose 95 cents to $18.75. Belco rose 25 cents to close at $20.00. The heaviest trading was with Bank of Bermuda and Belco shares, that traded 49,644 and 40,971 respectively.

BF&M stocks lost some ground, closing down 25 cents at $6.75. Bermuda Container Line fell 75 cents to close at its 52 week low of $3.50. KeyTech dropped 50 cents, closing at $34.25.

The index closed up 1.76 percent at 1,920.74 on a volume of 126,275 shares worth $3,432,210.75.
