Mrs. Cynthia Eder, from California, lost her husband Paul when their rented bike was in a collision with a taxi and a truck on South Shore Road, Smith's Parish last Tuesday.

She was rushed into intensive care with wrist and serious shoulder injuries, and was released on Friday.
