Music equipment stolen
equipment from a public house in Devonshire on Friday.
The New Clay House Inn on North Shore Road was targeted by thieves sometime between 3 a.m. and 11 a.m..
Several valuable pieces of music equipment were taken, including two turntables, a mixer, and an amplifier.
And officers were also called in to investigate an attempted theft from a taxi overnight on Friday.
The empty car was parked on Schools Drive in Devonshire when the thief accidentally smashed the rear passenger side window in his attempts to force it open.
However, once inside the vehicle, the thief found nothing more to steal than a bag containing an assortment of tins of corned beef.
A cellular phone, pager and a quantity of cash were stolen from a woman's handbag early on Saturday morning, also at the New Clay House Inn.
It is thought to have happened between 1 a.m. and 1.15 a.m. on Saturday. The female victim was in the bar when she realised she had left her handbag in the car. When she went back to get it, she found its contents scattered about.
