Argus Insurance Company stock was the only riser, gaining 50 cents to close at $12 on a volume of 200. The Bank of Bermuda closed down a dollar to $21 on a volume of 5,600. The Bank of Butterfield fell by 50 cents to $33.50 on a volume of 4,154.

Masters dropped by a dollar on a volume of 150 to close at $7. Bermuda Bakery traded unchanged at $17.25 on a volume of 586. Also trading unchanged was Belco at $21 on a volume of 343; and the Bank of Bermuda nine percent notes at $107.625 on a volume of 10,000, worth $10,762.50.

Shares worth $904,769 and bonds worth $363,848 were traded on the Exchange last week.
