And Southampton East MP Mr. Burrows, speaking during the Throne Speech debate in the House of Assembly on Friday, also called on the international business sector to cooperate with and show the PLP the same respect it did the former UBP government.

Mr. Burrows said many companies could now utilise the experience of some PLP backbenchers by offering them jobs.

"I expect the phone to be constantly off the hook,'' he said.

And recounting how retired PLP MP Walter Roberts was dismissed by two international companies, Mr. Burrows said: "If they continue to act like that with the new Government we will never be able to form a new Bermuda.
