Trevor J. DeSilva, 31 of Cedar Hill admitted carrying a knife.

Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, told the court that Police were called to the area outside Four Star Pizza in Warwick where a group of men were seen with knives.

"Officers saw DeSilva carrying a small wooden-handled kitchen knife,'' Insp.

Duffy said.

When asked by Magistrate the Wor. Cheryl-Ann Mapp if he had anything to say DeSilva replied: "I'm thankful that this did not escalate into something serious. I thought I would need protection because it was three guys against one.''
