Man rushed to hospital with head injuries after crash
A man was rushed to hospital last night with head injuries after his motorbike was in collision with two cars.
A police spokesman said it appeared the auxiliary cycle was headed west on a series of bends near Scaur Hill Fort Park off Somerset Road in Sandys when the collision, with vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, happened.
He added officers were keen to speak to the female driver of a black car who was also headed west at the time of the collision.
The spokesman said westbound traffic was being diverted at the Lantana entrance on to the Railway Trail.
Eastbound traffic was being routed through Scaur Hill Fort Park.
The crash happened about 8.30pm.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
Forensic officers and traffic accident investigators were tonight examining the scene.
Police appealed for witnesses to call 247 1704 or e-mail Pc William Simpson at wsimpson@bps.com
