according to Chairman of the institution's Board of Governors, Jan Spiering.

Dr. George Cook retired from the College after almost 25 years, the past eight being spent as its president.

Mr. Spiering said no doors would be closed in the search for a replacement and admitted that they would not restrict the search to Bermuda.

He said it was a very important position and that it was not certain that a new head would be found before the start of the new academic year in September.

Vice President of the College, Dr. Larita Alford has become the acting President and will serve in the position until a replacement is found.
