which all occurred on Saturday night.

In the first incident, a would-be thief or thieves smashed the display window of a children's book store on Bermudiana Road.

Although the store was apparently entered, it appears nothing was stolen.

Police discovered similar circumstances in a ceramics and novelty store at the rear of the Bermudiana Arcade.

The culprits again gained access through a broken front window, but stole nothing.

However, minor damage to a pair of ceramic vases was valued at $40.

In the third incident, the culprits made off with $25 after smashing a front door window of a Queen Street card store.

It is not known if the incidents are connected.
