Stock Exchange, as the week of activity left the index closing 37.25 points higher than when it started.
Fuelled by considerable activity as a result of the Bank of Butterfield's stock split, the volume of shares traded climbed to 73,530, valued at $922,598.
The bond volume was 263,000, valued at $265,500, bringing a total value of traded securities up to $1,188,098.
Butterfield stock climbed $0.75 to $14.50 on a trade volume of 42,887 for the period since the stock split occurred. (Chart on Page 12.)
