Travel agent gives Bermuda the thumbs up
as his favourite destination. Travel writer and editor Henry Josten writing in the December issue of Connecticut's Shore Line Newspaper group said: "I've had the good fortune to visit 71 countries in all parts of the world over the last half century or more.
"I love Hong Kong and San Francisco, Alaska and Rio, most of Europe and Africa, the Middle East, South Pacific, India, Thailand, China, and Walt Disney World. But asked to name my No. 1 favourite, my answer remains unhesitatingly Bermuda. It is the ideal vacation paradise for Connecticut residents, whether singles, couples or families.'' In the article which showered praise on everything from the pleasant climate and beaches, to attractions like the Maritime Museum, Crystal and Leamington caves and the Dockyard, Mr. Josten reserved his highest praise for the Pink Beach Club.
The Tucker's Town Cottage Colony was singled out for it's ocean views, comfortable cottages and good service.
