Chit Das was pulled from the water by a waiting ferry passenger after he fell from the dockside last Tuesday afternoon.

The rescuer, Canadian Juraj Pivovarov, managed to revive Mr. Das, who was unconscious, at the scene, before he was taken to the intensive care unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
