And although the total was about half that of a previous general meeting, organiser Richard Powell said the group brainstormed numerous ideas to unite the community.
But he added he felt it was "sad'' that many persons may have been discouraged from attending by "confrontational attitudes'' and comments heard over radio talk shows about Ord Road problems.
Two years ago the Police Clean sweep operation removed most drug dealers who used the area to ply their trade.
After the raid, residents came together on several occasions to pick up trash.
But there are now fears the drug dealers may be trying to return.
Mr. Powell said a committee of himself, PLP MP Dale Butler, UBP MP Tim Smith, a civilian and Inspector from Police would be meeting to discuss proposals.
They will then present recommendations at the next general meeting within coming weeks.
And Mr. Powell said the next step would depend on public response to the proposals.
"The community is only going to get out of this what they put into it,'' said Mr. Powell.
