his restaurant were approved by the Development Applications Board yesterday.
Mr. Lamb said he was not planning to close Dennis' Hideaway -- deep in St.
David's on Cashew City Road -- although it is suffering in the recession.
He said the shop is part of his plans to revamp the restaurant, which specialises in St. David's Island cooking. Mr. Lamb would not say what those plans were.
"Wev'e got to do something to stretch out and bring in some money,'' he said.
Mr. Lamb said he did not know when the shop will open because his financial arrangements have not been finalised.
When it does open it will be the second convenience store in St. David's, along with Pitcher's Variety.
