The 30-year-old from Hamilton Parish said the assailant approached him in the Front Street club and punched him on the nose.

Other staff members eventually detained the 30-year-old Pembroke suspect until Police arrived.

The man -- who also suffered a broken nose -- was arrested and taken to Hamilton Police station. He was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
