James Cameron Holder, 21, of Turks Head Lane, drove across the officer on Corregidor Avenue, St. David's, and then stopped, swearing at him.

Crown counsel Lesley Basden said Holder then drove off, but was stopped nearby by a marked Police car.

Holder admitted driving a cycle in a dangerous manner in a public place and using offensive words.

In addition, he pleaded guilty to having no rear light, driving an auxiliary cycle without a valid driver's licence, and speeding at 55 kph on Middle Road, Sandys Parish.

In addition to total fines of $895, Holder was banned from driving auxiliary cycles for six months.

Holder, who was not represented, had nothing to say in his defence.
