Friday to compete in the 12th World Karate Federation Championships in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

Under the leadership of Sensei Al Wharton, the team has been put through a rigorous training programme in preparation for the championships which could see some 70 countries competing. Bermuda has attended all but two of the championships since their inception in 1975, with a best showing of fourth in 1982.
