College president Dr. George Cook yesterday refused to say why the woman had been suspended.

"The matter is under investigation internally, and one has to presume innocence at this stage.'' Dr. Cook said the woman was suspended on full pay earlier this week.

"I am not prepared to say anything beyond that.''
