against St. Vincent tonight confident that they can improve on Wednesday's 1-0 victory.

But Director of Coaching Clyde Best feels that they will put a huge amount of pressure on their shoulders unless their finishing, poor in the opening match, improves. "We have to score goals. We had lots of chances on Wednesday but the ball just wasn't put into the net. We cannot afford to miss the chances we did in that opener,'' said Best. The coach has cautioned the players about being complacent, making them aware that their marginal 1-0 advantage going into the second match could be wiped out within seconds.

But both he and team coach Mark Trott were expected to concentrate on the side's sharpness going forward since the defence appeared to be composed when St. Vincent attacked.

"They were a team that we should have beaten and we did,'' said Best. "All I am concerned about is our difficulty in getting the ball into the goal.

"For some reason we were not able to play the kind of soccer we were capable of playing. But when you play two legs the important thing is not to lose and we got a win on Wednesday which was a good thing.'' St. Vincent may feel they did not do themselves justice in the first match after being forced to play a tough encounter only seven hours after arriving on the Island.

They spent a two-day stopover in New York on Monday and Tuesday night before flying here on Wednesday for the important clash, but now that they are rested and aware of both the playing conditions and the Bermuda squad the visitors could very well be more competitive in the second leg. The clash is at Somerset, starting at 7.00 p.m.
