CII exam yields new crop
Bermuda's multi-billion-dollar insurance industry recently sat Chartered Insurance Institute examinations.
Pictured above are Bermudians Ms Leslie Laurean Clarke, left, and Ms Judith Ann Ralston, who were among eight people who successfully completed their nine-part ACII (old style) qualification. Others were Ms Lorraine Alexander, Mr. David Andrew Sykes, Mr. Dennis Philip Emery, Ms Julie Helen MacDonald, Ms Donnette Velma Caisey and Ms Pamela Lambarth. Mr. Steven John Norrington and Mr. John Walsh completed the ACII (new style), which comprises one extra part.
Mr. Ian Linnegan, director of the Bermuda Insurance Institute, said he was "delighted'' with an overall 61-percent pass rate for 64 people who sat one or more CII exams held last October -- the first time the Institute has staged exams at that time of the year.
