they tackle Hotels in a First Division match at Devonshire Rec. tonight.

Robinson comes in as the replacement for interim coach Jack Castle who was in charge for two weeks before a shouting incident with the club's vice president, Mark Simons.

Castle had replaced Johnny Nusum, who resigned as coach last month after recognising that the players were not responding to him.

He remains with the club as an assistant coach, his position before replacing Nusum.

After a club meeting that involved players, PHC decided to promote Robinson from their junior programme. Castle is said to have not lobbied for the position because of other commitments.

The series of coaching changes at PHC are uncharacteristic at the club, but it was clear this week that newly elected president Chris Furbert was able to breathe a sigh of relief now that it was all over.

"Yes, Cecil is the official coach of the team now and everything at the club is functioning quite well,'' said Furbert.

"The changes now include having Jack Castle and Mike Dill as the assistant coaches for the senior team.'' "We are confident that all is well, training in particular is going quite well,'' said Furbert.

If PHC, one of the youngest squads in the First Division, are able to shrug off the affects of their coaching troubles of recent weeks, they could get untracked tonight against a Hotels team who have problems of their own.

During Sunday's 2-1 defeat against North Village at Bernard Park, Hotels had great difficulty advancing beyond their opponent's penalty area and getting direct shots on goal.

In tonight's opening Second Division, Hamilton Parish, under the leadership of new coach David Furbert, are expected to continue their push for promotion at the expense of Prospect.
