The Bloomberg TV Network carried a ten-minute session with Mr. Allen following a meeting in their New York studios.

A spokesman for the Department of Tourism said the interview ran all day on the cable network, and also was sent to 250,000 Bloomberg on-line investors and transcribed for the company's wire service.

Mr. Allen said: "It was an ideal opportunity to talk about Bermuda tourism, the new campaign, product development and the general re-launching of the industry.'' The Minister later met with Bloomberg founder and boss, Michael Bloomberg.
