Stars inflicted back on December 19.
Led by the irrepressible Myron Piper and Alden Ray, both of whom went through the singles undefeated, the league leaders moved to 7-1 on the season.
Prison Officers paid the price for arriving a man short, as they were blasted 8-3 by Old Colony Club, who moved from fourth to second.
At 5-1, Old Colony are now in position to join BPSA at the top of the standings if they win their pair of matches set for next week, however, they will have a giant obstacle in the form of BPSA to overcome. Ray and Piper have but a loss apiece this year, with the former 23-1 and the latter 20-1.
The lone other scheduled fixture never took place, as Bermuda College handed Police their first triumph by reason of default.
