disqualified from driving for a year in Magistrates' Court, yesterday.

Gibbons, 39, of Marley Beach Close, Warwick pleaded guilty to a charge of refusing to give a breath sample when he was stopped by Police.

He was seen by Police who said he was driving his car erratically near the roundabout at the junction of Trimingham Road and South Shore Road in Paget.

He was stopped and officers said they could smell alcohol on his breath.

Magistrate the Wor. Charles Etta Simmons handed out the regular penalty for the offence.

Gibbons has been chief executive of the ruling Government party for the past few years.
