Crown counsel Leighton Rochester told the court that Phillips, the mother of a nine-month-old child, was arrested at the Airport on December 7 after officials found approximately 324 grams of cocaine in her possession.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis granted Phillips bail in the sum of $3,000 with one like surety under the conditions she surrender her travel documents and report to Hamilton Police Station once a week.
Phillips, represented by Richard Hector, will appear again for mention on January 22, 1998.
