Archibald H. Douglas, of Cedar Hill, pleaded guilty to using offensive behaviour in the park.
A Police officer on patrol shortly before noon on October 6 saw Douglas unzip his shorts and begin to urinate at the base of a tree, prosecutor Sgt. Earl Kirby said. Douglas could be seen in clear view.
When Police approached him he said: "You guys are making a big deal about this?'', Sgt. Kirby said.
"I was in the trees at the time,'' Douglas told the court. "I could not make it to the bathroom. He (the Police officer) came in the trees and got me.''
