Cruise ship magazine launched

Bermuda Cruise will be distributed free of charge to passengers on board the Horizon and Meridian cruise ships, which account for 60 percent of the Island's cruise market.

Bermuda Cruise will be distributed free of charge to passengers on board the Horizon and Meridian cruise ships, which account for 60 percent of the Island's cruise market.

The 56-page, glossy magazine is a publication of periodical publishers Preview of Bermuda Ltd., This Week in Bermuda Ltd. and the Bermudian Publishing Company Ltd.

The magazine, which is backed by the cruise line and Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, will have a weekly circulation of 2,000 copies from May to October for a total print run of 50,000 copies.

Mr. Kevin Stevenson, the Bermuda Cruise's managing editor said: "This is a very exciting new project designed to give visitors to Bermuda all the information they need to make their stay more enjoyable.'' The magazine contains historical information about the Island and lists details on night life, restaurants, transport, sports, shopping and sightseeing.
