Tuff Dogs upset Commercial League frontrunners Robin Hood 2-1 in recent action, putting a damper on the pub side's Division `A' championship push.

Playing under extreme conditions at Wellington Oval, where a fierce squall even forced a 15 minute stoppage during the first half, the home side lived up to the monicker with a splendid come from behind triumph.

True to form, Hood took the early lead as Paul Towlson netted, but turning around for the second half, Dogs, with the wind at their backs, stormed back on the tails of two strikes from Marco Mota.

The victors thus moved from sixth to fourth in the standings on 13 points, still six adrift of Hood, who suffered their first league defeat of the season but maintain a three point advantage over second placed Lobster Pot.

HARNESS RACING RAH A full slate of harness races are scheduled for Vesey Street this evening with 36 ponies expected to compete.

Twenty two races are on tap, the first at 7.30 p.m.
