And Tina Tweed, of Princess Street, was fined a total of $1,350 on Wednesday for using drugs within 300 metres of the then-location of Little Lamb Nursery -- a drug-free zone.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined Tweed $250 for misusing cocaine, $100 for having drug equipment, and $1,000 for being inside the drug-free zone.
Mr. Francis gave Tweed until February 26 to pay the fine after duty counsel Tyrone Chin spoke up on her behalf.
Junior Crown counsel Veronica Gordon said that Police went to Dundonald Street, opposite the then-location of the nursery, and entered a room where there was "thick white smoke'' throughout the room.
Tweed was arrested on suspicion of drug misuse and having drug equipment. The pipe she had been using was seized and later found to have traces of freebase cocaine or crack.
