Monday when post offices across the Island will hold an open house. The open houses are a part of Post Office Awareness Week 1995 which is being held in conjunction with World Post Day.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Post Office said World Post Day allowed postal administrations to reinforce their mission to collect, process and deliver mail as economically and rapidly as possible.

The public, including school children, have been invited to visit a post office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday. Other celebrations during the week will include a special reception for postal workers on Monday afternoon during which members of the Post Office Choir will perform.
