Roger Eugene Lightbourne was caught during the 7 a.m. raid yesterday, and will appear in court in due course according to Police.

Lightbourne, 24, of Hartle Drive, off Sound View Road, Sandy's, had been arrested on suspicion of committing a criminal offence.

Police will not reveal any details of the offence because investigations are still continuing.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Lennett (Lennie) Edwards has ordered a full investigation into how Lightbourne escaped from his cell.

Police spokesman Sgt. John Dale thanked the public for their response to the Press appeal after Lightbourne's escape.
