Rod Mackenzie is no stranger to the Island -- he began performing at Robin Hood Restaurant and Pub more than 22 years ago.

Since then he has played at Rum Runners, Hog Penny, Longtail and the White Heron.

He released a CD entitled "Travelling Upstream'' earlier this year and is concentrating on his recording career.

He will be performing in the Bermuda Folk Club Concert on Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m. at the Old Colony Club in Hamilton.

The opening act will be a solo performance by Mark Benoit, a Canadian living in Bermuda.

Tickets for the concert are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. They will be available at Music Box.
