The Royal Gazette understands that within the past two weeks a group of Nigerians obtained the jewels from Colombian Emeralds who are in partnership with Astwood-Dickinson.

The Royal Gazette understands that within the past two weeks a group of Nigerians obtained the jewels from Colombian Emeralds who are in partnership with Astwood-Dickinson.
A Police spoeswoman confirmed Police had received a report of a fraud at a local jewellers and were investigating.
It is not known if and when charges will be laid.
Astwood Dickinson Manager Bob Snoddy said: "We have not had anything like that.
"You would have to speak to the Island manager of Astwood-Dickinson, Stephen Miller.'' Mr. Snoddy then consulted with Mr. Miller and said: "It's an internal matter.
We have no comment. We might have a comment at a later date. These were just attempts, nothing was actually stolen.''
