Warm-hearted staff at the Southampton Princess hotel have helped raise $9,400 for two former colleagues who were forced to give up work after suffering strokes.
The staff laid on a fund-raising show, "Lean On Me'', featuring local entertainers.
Around 400 people attended the event, boosting proceeds through ticket sales.
The cash was divided between former maid Mrs. Audrey Carmichael, and former bellman Mr. Gerald Watson.
Hotel general manager Mr. Eric Brooks is pictured left presenting the former employees with cheques during a special ceremony this week.
Also pictured, from left, are Mr. Hubert Smith, and show organisers Ms Esmie Isaac, Mr. Leslie Smith, Mr. George Ross, Mrs. Connie Edness, and Mrs. Madge Wilson.
