takes place tomorrow at Horseshoe Bay.

The day is aimed at getting Bermudians to "put aside their differences and come together in appreciation of each other'', said Mr. Glenn Blakeney, chairman of the steering committee of the Bermuda Community Coalition which is organising the event.

The Bermuda Community Coalition was formed two months ago when, as Mr.

Blakeney explained, he and others realised there were "so many people off on different tangents''.

"We thought it would be nice if the people of Bermuda could come together and resolve their problems in a respectful and candid manner so as not to separate further,'' said Mr. Blakeney, a radio disc jockey.

The group has lobbied local and international companies for financial gifts, which will be given to the winning teams of several different events, who in turn will donate to a charity of their choice.

The day of fun begins at 11 a.m. and will stretch through the evening.

Starting at 7 p.m. local bands will provide entertainment and Single Parents in Action will serve up dinner at a cost of $7.
