at National Stadium tomorrow, designated as World Athletic Day by the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF).

The international governing body are pushing for junior athletic events on the weekend in virtually every country to celebrate the occasion.

Bermuda Track and Field Association have, however, decided to include seniors and to stage their meet on Saturday only, starting at 2.00 p.m. Registration will take place at 1.00 p.m.

Organisers are hoping for a quality meet and will be offering medals, certificates, lapel pins and some tee-shirts to participants. Age groups will be from 10 years to 15-and-over into various adult categories.
