On Wednesday, the woman watched as a youth entered her neighbour's home, and knowing the owner to be away, called the Police. The would-be thief turned out to be a workman hired by the owner to do jobs while he was away.

Police Community Relations Officer Sgt. John Dale said: "The woman was quite apologetic, but Police are quick to encourage people to look out for their neighbours' homes and call if anything suspicious is seen.''
