BEC welcomes Saul
Hon. David Saul and his new Cabinet, BEC president Mr. Dennis Tucker said yesterday.
The BEC, which has more than 320 member companies in Bermuda, is involved in several initiatives that will involve talks with Dr. Saul or his Ministers, Mr. Tucker said in a news release.
They include talks with the Finance Minister on Government's pension plans, talks with the Human Affairs Minister on racial equality and equal opportunities in the workplace, and talks with the Minister of Home Affairs on the Code of Good Industrial Practice, Immigration matters, and training.
Also, "we would be more than pleased to meet with any Minister who considers the BEC could be of assistance on issues such as the fight against drugs, the development of tourism, youth programmes, the environment, and education,'' he said.
