Local law firm Trott & Duncan has moved into new offices and has modernised its corporate logo.

The firm moved out of its former offices in Brunswick Street to a brand new building on the same street.

This move also prompted the partners, Perry Trott, Delroy Duncan and Karen Williams-Smith, to decide that it was also time for a more updated corporate identity.

They enlisted the services of local communications agency AAC Saatchi and Saatchi who worked with an in-house team consisting of Debra McCracken, Amanda Lloyd and Christopher Way to create a new brand for the firm which is more reflective of the attitudes of staff and management.

Ms McCracken said: "Our challenge was to come up with a look which not only positioned us as modern and progressive but which also represented the synergy between our associate companies - Westport Trust Company Ltd. and Trocan Management Ltd."

"The look also had to work across all forms of communication, including stationery, business forms, website, signage and trade show displays."

"We are very pleased with the results," said managing partner Delroy Duncan. "Our new logo uses three overlapping squares that represent our three companies and the connection between them. And we've used three strong primary colours which we feel represent the strength of our firm. It's been a very exciting process for all involved."
